Had soup for lunch and went out for a walk
In the sunshine, round the Quays, and buying
My first takeaway coffee for months. Took
A walk round the Quays mall. It had the look
Of lockdown, parts were inaccessible
Non-essential shops, shutters down and locked
Up. Costa was open, I was able
To use their loo, then an enjoyable
Mocha with cream as I walked on, going
Through the Blue Peter garden, grassy nook
Outside the TV studio, memorable
Back in the 70s for me, watching
John, Peter, Val and Lesley laugh and talk!
