No exercises done, two nights got drunk
Tuesday and Thursday after work, went on
A mini-binge, some beer and some song
It’s not been a healthy week, but not strong
Enough to get through the workload without
A celebration afterwards, hoping
The drink would help me sleep, lager or stout
Perhaps no evening meal didn’t help fight
The tiredness or fuel the next workathon
But somehow I managed not to debunk
My growing reputation that I get
Things done no matter what obstacles come
And despite challenges I do not flunk
