5259 - New morning

When’s morning ever old? Think that it means
A new start, blank slate, and I felt okay
A bit dry from the vodka. Needed beans
To go with crumpets and fried eggs, that way
It would’ve been tastier, I have to say
Quiet day really, another walk, some rain
These Sainsbury’s trousers dried quick though cos they
Aren’t jeans. Once more those joggers act insane
They must all be insane in the membrane
Jogging past from behind, vapour unseen
But who knows, it could be deadly. Gyms they
Need to reopen pronto, get these pains
In the ass off the pavements. Human beings
With no thought for others. Gym scum are they
