Woke at 3:15, got up and watched TV
Went back to bed 3 hours later. Entailed
Missing a meeting this morning! TB
Had to explain himself to boss - happily
Explanation accepted by the man
He knows the Brexit work that comes to me
Is all-consuming. I did not explain
That I got pissed last night, or he’d be one
Less impressed boss, for sure. It never fails
To be economical truthfully
Kept up with my workload and now I’ve come
To relaxation time. No more emails
Til tomorrow, when refreshed I should be!
