So it should be cold at this time of year
After work, went out on the balcony
It was ok at first with the odd beer
But after a while, I got out of there
And went for a walk where I nearly froze
Can’t wait for spring but it’s still mid-winter
You have to go through it though, I suppose
No matter the pain to your ears and nose
The week’s work’s over at last, happily
Tomorrow I’ll put up lights and spread good cheer
In my room, putting on some good light shows
My feet i must say are getting chilly
But I suppose that’s natural, oh yeah
