Is the one thing I keep failing to do
I’d finally do it tonight - was convinced
Yet still no keyboard session - sad but true
I bought the ‘new’ keyboard last June - who knew
I’d still not have played it by January
As if to avoid it, I continued
Working til almost six when I could be
Forgiven for being too tired. Inevitably
I had tired myself out and now had spells
Of hunger plaguing me. I guess now you
Know what I did - and it wasn’t the keys
At lunchtime got some books though. Reading thrills
At least, if no keyboard frills, can’t argue
