Helen was messaging some funny stuff
Worrying about a meeting , slightly pissed
Whereas I kept my resolution stiff
My aim was to go down the gym. I love
How that fills up the evening when I do
And I feel good and warm and positive
My half hour cycling - couldn’t believe how
Strong my legs felt, and so was tempted to
Go for it. I did 8 miles 76
Then vigorous cross trainer work for half
That time- 15 minutes- but felt like new
Enjoyed shower and walk home. Warmed up - bliss
Your active body seems to heat itself!
