And walking round in loud shoes on the floor
Not very thoughtful. Today's been sunny, sure
But I'm already tanned, so stayed indoors
Made quite good use of time, deciding what
I should do at Tribeca, Sunday, for
That high pressure little 5 minute slot
Rewrote some song lyrics and even put
The melodies down on voice recorder
This evening, practised uke nearly three hours
Tried jamming to Miles Davis - it was not
As hard as you might think! Now not much more
To do, might read The Guardian 'fore I snore
