I drove to Mum’s in yesterday. Went home
Had fish fingers for lunch, and then time for
A drive, try to find countryside somewhere
Not too far, though, so drove right through Salford
Eccles, Monton, Swinton, Worsley, then there
Was Walkden, Little Hulton, then ‘abroad’
Into Wigan Borough, Atherton, Lord,
I’m in Leigh now, it’s sunny. Then I roamed
Through Lowton, finally finding a fair-
Sized park in Newton-le-Willows. My hoard
Of props came out of the parked car, and soon
Several short films were stored on my camera
