It was becoming clearer that without
A miracle change in voting trends, nowt
Could be done - we were leaving the EU
I heard the Liverpool, Manchester votes
They, and London, voted Remain, and you
Knew Glasgow and Edinburgh would do too
But the provinces of England decreed
That we should Leave, and in the morning light
Farage exulted, Cameron resigned. New
Leader now needs finding by the Tories
To hurry up and carry out Brexit!
