But soon we settled down to an evening
Of chat, music and smoke that was so clear
A break from the week’s work, just relaxing
And time passing with sociable acting
So rare in these last months, been so alone
Apart from boring work online meetings
Although we try our best to make them fun
Most of the time, needing a break, but one
Day off and there’s emails from ear to ear
And that fear of falling behind, nagging
The evening started early but went on
Til 2:20, seemingly forever
Watching YouTube, Ali talking boxing
