The working week it flies by in a flash
And the weekend itself would be a waste
If not celebrated with the odd glass
So I did, and I caught up with podcasts
Then finished The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix
Started Unorthodox, about the clash
Between Hasidic Jewishness and things
In the mainstream western world, and Berlin’s
The setting for the drama, and I’ve passed
That way before so it’s nice to rehash
Memories when I see places that are fixed
There. Wonder if I’ll go back there at last
When we’re all vaccinated. Hurry, rush!
