A nice family day, both daughters seen
And Vee, the ex-missus, at her new flat
And Christmas shopping in the Arndale, done
Not much more to do now, just wrapping, that
Will then be handed out when we next meet
On Friday, at Vee's flat, then it's a meal
At that cool new restaurant, The Laundrette
I really am lucky to have these real
Lovely people in my family, we'll
Just continue to stay close and have fun
The watchword when we're together, no spats
Maybe partly because we didn't feel
We saw too much of each other, but come
Together in friendliness, there's no hate
