Back at work, working hard, and chatting, too
Glad I went in and didn't take more leave
Back home, did exercises, wee'd in loo
Carla had the heat on, as you'd believe
She's turned it off now, but we'll need to leave
It on for my clothes to dry, soon. She's up
Now, after post-work rest, meant to retrieve
Energy after a long shift with cups
Of coffee for ungrateful gals and chaps
In Caffe Nero, Deansgate. Told her to
Hurry up and change jobs, so she can give
Comedy a decent shot, stay on top
And not exhaust herself. Now, what to do
Tonight? Not sure, would you Adam and Eve?
