From time to time but not in a bad way
Had Brexit stuff to do, unrelenting
Quite stressful at times, couldn’t get away
Til 6, and as this was my last work day
For a while with the approaching new year
You kind of know what I am going to say
I decided that I deserved some beer
Gerard didn’t partake but he was here
In the living room and constantly talking
Me talking too, with almost no delay
For about 5 hours, hard to drink my beer
So much talking went on that my drinking
Of just four bottles took all night, hey hey 👋
