5226 - Brexit wrecks it

My work’s dominated at the moment 

By Brexit and UK’s preparation 

With guidance for business who almost can’t 

Cope with the demands of alteration 

Of norms hitherto. New forms for customs

New procedures, some are still being worked out 

I’d hate it if I was a businessman 

At least there’s some restraint due to the doubt 

And last minute nature of it all, but

We’ll go easy when it comes to the count

Of how they’ve struggled but done their best on

Getting their tax right. Knackered but despite 

This, I drank because I thought I had spent 

My energy, needed stimulation!
