Phew!!! So busy at work today! Applied
For two jobs, and did lots of other stuff
Now I'm back home and I've bought salmon. Fried
It should be nice. I know Carla has tried
Salmon (reduced price) a few times, so hope
She'll share it with me - our last night tonight!
She's leaving home tomorrow, wants to slope
Off to Leeds, but she's bought some wine to quaff
So I bought salmon, and two spuds to gulp
Down with that wine. Fourteen months have expired
Our time together has been long enough
But it's from neighbours that she wants to hide
We'll keep in touch fairly often, I hope
I think our friendship's strong, which time will prove
